Mr. Strauss was recommended to me by the defense counsel in the case.  I always find in a mediation that I want a mediator that the defendant will listen to.  Therefore, I was receptive to the defense counsel's suggestion.

He mentioned that he had over 2200 mediations under his belt.  He was thoroughly prepared.  His level of understanding in this medical malpractice case was thorough.  He was not afraid to give positive and negative points to both sides regarding the case.  His approach led to a thorough discussion of the issues in the case without polarizing the parties.
